The Birmingham Chinese Festival Association began with a casual lunch conversation at a restaurant between two friends in 2005 and has developed into the largest Chinese New Year Celebration in Alabama. Chinese New Year 2025 is co-produced by Birmingham Chinese Festival Committee and Birmingham Hippodrome.
