The LA Golden Dragon Parade, first held in 1899, is among the oldest Lunar New Year celebrations in the U.S. Initially arranged by Chinese-American immigrants in Los Angeles, it celebrated their cultural heritage and shared Lunar New Year traditions with a broader audience.
