The Perth Chinese New Year Fair is back Sunday 2 February to celebrate the Year of the Snake with a series of special events. The popular community event promises a captivating array of cultural experiences and festivities - attendees can immerse themselves in traditional arts and crafts, and see colourful cultural performances, including the highly anticipated lion and dragon dances. The 15-day long celebrations are accompanied by rich customs, rituals and practices that include reunion dinners, lion dances and the giving of red packets. Lunar New Year @ Crown Perth (January 24 – February 12) For the Year of the Snake, Crown Perth is pulling out all the stops with special banquets across the complex.
