Lunar New Year is a vibrant celebration each year in Oklahoma City as members of the city's Asian communities gather together to celebrate the holiday.. Home to a large Vietnamese community — who call the holiday Tet, short for short for Tet Nguyen Dan — as well as people from a multitude of other Asian backgrounds that observe the holiday, OKC's Asian District works to bring together – January 25, 11am-2pm, Water Stage, West Plaza, Lobby, Circle Drive – It’s the Year of the Snake!
