Joyful hanging lanterns celebrating the Year of the Dragon can be seen on every corner at Shanghai Disney Resort from Jan. 18 through Feb. 24. Featuring a majestic “Dragon’s Gate,” Chip ‘n’ Dale are depicted as a pair of koi fish “leaping” over the gate, which represents better prospects for the New Year! Over at the three Disney Hotels at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Snake with a vibrant and joyful Chinese New Year Lion Dance performance on New Year’s Day. You can even encourage joy and good fortune for the year ahead at a festive Mickey cookie decorating class during the Chinese New Year. It’s the Lunar New Year Celebration that celebrates, well, the Chinese Lunar New Year.
