HONOLULU (Island News) -- Celebrate Chinese New Year by slithering into the Year of the Snake at the Chinatown Festival & Parade this Saturday. The popular event returns on Jan. 25, 2025 with all HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - One of Hawaii’s largest and most significant cultural celebrations is happening this weekend. The fun kicks off Friday night at the Chinese Cultural Plaza at 5:00 p.m C elebrate Lunar New Year at the Chinatown Festival & Parade presented by American Savings Bank on Saturday, Jan. 25. The festivities include a parade, live entertainment across three stages, an Chinese New Year at Kapolei Shopping Center Saturday, Feb. 8, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Ring in the Year of the Snake with a lion table jumping performance, “feed” the lions and enjoy a Chinese New Year Celebration. The Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii once again hosts activities for its annual Chinese New Year Celebration at the Chinatown Cultural Plaza from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
