A final celebration is set to take place on March 8 with a Chinese New Year Gala at University of York. Organised by the Chinese Students Association, the gala will feature music, dance, and The Chinese Community Center was founded in 1973 and this will be its 52nd Lunar New Year show. It started as a small celebration and now has grown into a Gala show with an audience of hundreds from across the Capital Region. It features both community-based programs and professional performers.
