Chinese New Year 2025, the Year of the Snake, falls on 29 January. Now run by the The London Chinatown Chinese Association (LCCA) , the CNY London celebrations began as a small community event in Chinatown more than 20 years ago; the festivities have now become the largest of their kind outside Asia, attracting hundreds of thousands of people The Chinese New Year parade will continue at Trafalgar Square, China Town and Leicester Square on February 2. From February 4 to 10, the residents of Chongqing and London will have an opportunity to meet each other via live events, as huge screens in both cities will livestream the celebrations. 2025 will welcome the Year of the Snake for the first time since 2013.
