Each year, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles hosts the Annual Golden Dragon Parade. With over a hundred thousand spectators and thousands more viewing the telecast on main stream TV such as NBC4, ABC7, and many online broadcast channels, this colorful celebration along North Broadway in Chinatown has become the premiere cultural event in the Southern California Asian-American Celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Dragon at the 125th Annual Golden Dragon Parade in historic Chinatown. A King, Queen, Prince, and Princess are chosen and have the opportunity to attend the Chinese New Years festivities including the Annual Golden Dragon Parade, Chinese New Year Banquet, and they receive the recognition certificates at the Los Angeles City Council meeting. This will be the 2024 Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Court’s first public appearance since being coronated on January 27, 2024 at the 61st Miss Chinatown Los Angeles competition at the San Gabriel Sheraton.
