Lunar New Year, on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. Penn Museum presents its 44th annual Lunar New Year celebration, as part of the CultureFest! series. Attendees can celebrate the Year of the Snake with lion dancing, a performance from Penn K-Beats, and a panel discussion about the similarities and differences in Lunar New Year celebrations across cultures. The Chinese Student and Scholar Association at Penn (CSSAP) hosts the Lunar New Year Gala. The evening features 20 mesmerizing performances and three rounds of lotteries.
