Lunar New Year Festival at Tucson Chinese Cultural Center 1288 W. River Rd. Saturday, February 15. $5 gets you into the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center’s Lunar New Year Festival on Saturday, February 15. From 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., they’ll be selling food and beverages at the family-friendly event, which will feature Chinese music and dance. Step into a world of vibrant traditions and captivating festivities at the Lunar New Year Celebration, hosted by the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center. As one of the center's most anticipated events of the year, this celebration promises an immersive experience into the rich tapestry of Chinese and AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Lunar New Year is the beginning of an annual calendar year whose months are moon cycles. The event is observed by numerous Asian, South Asian, and Middle Eastern cultures. Mission Garden partners with the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center (TCCC) for this event, which will take place in Mission Garden’s Chinese Garden.
