The 2025 Annual Chinese Lunar New Year Parade will take place Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Hosted and organized by the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of Washington, DC (CCBA) in partnership with the DC Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA). For the 11th year, the Smithsonian American Art Museum will offer family-friendly activities highlighting Lunar New Year celebrations across East and South Asia, from live performances to art demos. With a variety of Asian cultures in the DC area, including Chinatown, the nation's capital features numerous ways to celebrate the holiday.
