Celebrations have begun for Chinese New Year at the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre, with dragon and lion dances, vendors and more. There are more than 60 booths inside the Chinese Cultural Performers with the Honan Shaolin Association and Jing Wo Cultural Association perform a Dragon Dance for Lunar New Year at the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre on Saturday, February 10, 2024 The Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre’s Chinese New Year Festival 2025 promises a sensational celebration of Calgary's rich cultural tapestry. One of the biggest celebrations in the city, it take place on Feb. 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 197 1 St SW, Calgary. Prior to the Chinese New Year 2025, they are having a free hands-on dragon dance workshop at the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre.
