Starting before noon, our cultural bazaar will open in Flushing Town Hall’s 1st floor gallery! The parade will be held on Saturday, February 01, 2025 on 11am sharp in front of the 109th Precinct (corner of Union Street and 39th Ave). The opening ceremony will begin with Lion Date: Saturday, Jan. 18 Time: 1 p.m. Location: Flushing Town Hall Theater. Tickets: $15 for general admission, $13 for seniors and students with ID There will be a lunar new year lantern workshop taking place at the Flushing Friends Quaker Meeting House on Sunday Jan. 28 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with tickets costing $25 on Eventbrite. This year’s month-long Lunar Lunar New Year celebrates the start of another year on the lunar calendar, starting with the first new moon. The festival is widely celebrated across Asia and the world.
