The Lunar Festival is a seasonal event from the Warcraft universe that takes place each year during February. It is the in-game counterpart of the Chinese Lunar New Year. The event is celebrated in-game with new skins, mounts and bundles. Special quests provide the opportunity for daily gold, and a special portrait. At the start of each year, denizens of Azeroth take time to cherish the wisdom of their elders, and remember a great triumph over an ancient evil. Those who now reside within the Nexus have brought these traditions along, and you can help ring in the new year by joining in our brand-new Lunar Festival event.Event summary Dates: February 6th - March 5th The Lunar Festival is an event for Heroes New Lunar Skins. Many Heroes are joining in the revelry and donning their finest fineries during this year’s Lunar Festival event, including Kael’thas, Sylvanas, Cassia, and Zul’jin. Additionally, items from past years, such as Lunar Illidan, Jaina, Li-Ming, and others have returned to the Nexus! There are 8 puzzle pieces in total. When all the puzzle pieces of the New Year memories are collected, the [Full of Enthusiasm] <Hot Spots> achievement event will be launched. Complete the illustrated tasks to challenge and get more <Hot Spots>; If you unlock the <New Year Prosperity Gift Pack>, you will also receive additional hot spot rewards. Excitement awaits during this year’s Lunar Festival event! Over the next few weeks, you’ll be racing to complete new special event quests that offer handsome rewards, you’ll find a few new skins and mounts in the Shop, and you may even spot a few fireworks at the end of your matches. Every so often, Heroes of the Storm features special in-game events. Each limited-duration event has a specific theme, and offers rewards and special purchases in keeping with that theme. Some events are unique, timed to celebrate the addition of a batch of new heroes, battlegrounds, skins and mounts;, while others are seasonal, and are repeated each year, generally tying into seasonal events Blizzard Entertainment announced today that the Lunar Festival for its MOBA Heroes of the Storm returns this week with new cosmetic items and game mode. Heroes of the Storm's first 2025 update introduces Brawl Mode with special maps and gameplay every two weeks. The update includes balance changes to Chromie, Tracer, Johanna, Zul'jin, and Auriel. The Lunar new year is part of the Spring Seasonal Event since 2019, which was the Caldeum Complex in 2019.
