Like Easter, it is calculated by the lunar calendar rather than the solar calendar – so the date changes from year to year, depending on the moon phases. Mall of America will celebrate the Chinese New Year and ring in the “Year of the Ox” Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 13 and 14, with displays in the TCF Rotunda and Culinary on North.
