Based on the Chinese zodiac, the snake is associated with wisdom, charm, and elegance—the latter two of which can be used to describe Oversea Group’s Chinese New Year 2025 spread. In conjunction with the opening of its newest outlet called Oversea Palace Seafood, the Vulcan Post team was invited to a preview of this seasonal feast. Oversea Restaurant’s Chinese New Year menu is a gastronomic delight. Each dish shone on its own with its distinct savoury flavours. The standout dish is the Prosperity Treasure Pot due to the delicious broth which leaves you wanting more even when the dish is long finished. There are 3 set menus to choose from, starting at RM 898++ for 6 to RM 3,388++ for 10 pax, put together by a group of executive chefs with more than 40 years of experience. All the set menus will be available from Chinese New Year till the last day of February and each set comes with a box of Oversea’s Hong Kong Style Egg Rolls while stocks last. The Chinese New Year menu is available at all Oversea Restaurants in Imbi, Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, Ipoh, Genting Skyplaza, and 1Utama, but only up til February 24th 2024. Take-away and delivery is available, and a pre-order of 3 days in advance is required so, since it’s the Year of the Dragon, don’t dragon it and make a reservation now!
