Birmingham’s annual Chinese New Year celebration is back and is bigger than ever; with two stages, lion dances, funfair rides, street food and a host of traditional entertainment taking over Southside on Sunday 18th February, from 11.30am to 4.30pm. Chinese New Year 2025 is co-produced by Birmingham Chinese Festival Committee and Birmingham Hippodrome. This year’s festival is sponsored by Uber Eats and supported by Southside District, The Arcadian, Wing Yip and Brothers Foundation and The Birmingham Chinese School.
