Celebrate Chinese New Year in Center Court! Enjoy an afternoon of cultural festivities starting with Chinese calligraphy by Master Ina Chang from 2 pm to 5 pm. Then, experience the thrilling Wah Ngai Lion Dance performance from 6 pm to 6:30 pm, followed by center-wide lion dance blessings until 8 pm. The Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii will be hosting its annual Chinese New Year celebrations at the Chinatown Cultural Plaza on Jan. 24, 5 to 10 p.m., and Jan. 25, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. In Hawaii, locals take this celebration very seriously, as everything you do is to bring as much good luck as possible.
