The heart of Manchester will soon come alive with colour, culture and celebration as the city gears up for its much-anticipated Chinese New Year festivities. Taking place on 1st and 2nd February 2025, this year’s celebrations promise to be a dazzling display of traditional and contemporary 1 – 2 February 2025 12pm – 10pm Chinatown. Celebrate Chinese New Year in Chinatown with live performances, stalls, a funfair, Manchester’s famous red lanterns and the city’s legendary Dragon Parade The annual Chinese New Year Dragon Parade will take place in the city centre from Oxford Street to Chinatown.
